Low level employees are pretty much doomed anyway. Look at Marriot. They posted something like a $150 million dollar profit during Covid even though their business was only 30% of pre-Covid- due mostly to cutting their workforce. More businesses will catch on. We'll just have to wait in longer lines and spend more time self checking out- or on hold on the phone etc. . (Not to mention it seems to me, by the time the $15 an hour comes in, we'll need it to be higher to keep pace with the rising cost of living. Unless we add corporatism to the fight against socialism.)


When the fifteen dollar an hour liberal mindset realizes they've been replaced by technology in the form of a self service kiosk, maybe then they will look beyond making entry level jobs a career. Before you say it won't happen remember all those cashier jobs at lowe's and home depot that have been replaced by the self checkouts! People are already somewhat conditioned to comply.
