Diane G. Harrell, age 75 of Sopchoppy, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022.

She was born on Sept. 4, 1946, to the late Mr. William & Lois Gillespie.

Diane worked for Harrell Brothers Construction. She enjoyed horses and sewing.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: William & Lois Gillespie and grandson: Grayson David Harrell.

She leaves behind to cherish years of memories, her loving husband, Barney Harrell, Jr.; children: Ed Woods of Kentucky, Jeanie (Henry) Barbree of Crawfordville, Greg (Lori) Harrell of Sopchoppy, and Rebecca (Chris) Hewett of Crawfordville; grandchildren, Logan Cook, Mattie Harrell, Gavin and Tristan Hewett; and brother: William Paul Gillespie; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, at Mount Beasor Primitive Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Elder Bruce Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the church at 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. Interment will follow at West Sopchoppy Cemetery.
