The Burt and Suzanne Eno of Dunnellon helped sponsor a Florida Wildlife Corridor mural in Crystal River.

Burt and Suzanne Eno of Dunnellon were sponsors of the Florida Wildlife Corridor’s new mural being painted in downtown Crystal River.

The Wildlife Corridor group will be placing murals throughout the state to bring attention to their efforts to preserve lands for wildlife travel in Florida.

Last Wednesday, a group of students from Citrus County schools joined in to help paint the mural on the CenturyLink building on 5th Ave. in downtown Crystal River. Mr. and Mrs. Eno financially supported the project.

Other sponsors included the City of Crystal River, the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and Crystal River Main Street.

This is the first in a series of murals planned.

The Corridor group consists of paddlers, hikers, biologists, birders, ranchers, fishermen, and snorkelers who are working towards the conservation of Florida’s landscapes and wildlife through art and storytelling media.

Dr. Burt Eno was a longtime president of the Rainbow River Conservation.
