As the Florida heat and humidity continue through the summer months, we decided it is time for some fall-ward thinking in anticipation of the cooler weather and special events coming to Sholom Park this fall.
Park After Dark is an exclusive cultural concert series featuring live music, virtual views, and food from around the world. We have an intriguing lineup of musical entertainment and participating food vendors representing the countries of Turkey, Jamaica, and Spain.
Think fall-ward and make your plans to experience the world with Sholom Park.
It all begins on Oct. 20, as we explore the diverse country of Turkey and the Gypsy Trail with Kafkasso & Moonspell. From the streets of Istanbul, virtuoso guitarist Daryal Kafkasso Erdem leads you through the ancient cities of Europe with his original and traditional compositions.
Experience the music through the art of dance with a true Mediterranean-style dance performance that will engage your soul! Savor the flavors of the Mediterranean with K&S 7-Spice Food Truck serving a flavorful menu of gyros, falafel, hummus, baklava, and more.
On Nov. 17, experience the vibrant musical culture of the Caribbean with The Craig Thompson Project. A native of Kingston Jamaica, Craig’s love for music is evident from the moment he starts performing. Listen to the rhythmic beats of reggae and feel the Island vibes as we virtually visit “Jamaica, mon.” Experience a taste of the Islands with Impact Island Café serving authentic Caribbean classics, delicious vegan options, and refreshing island fruit smoothies.
Feliz Navidad from Spain! Celebrate the holidays on Dec. 15 with the sophisticated and soulful sounds of flamenco guitarist Don Soledad. Don’s solo Christmas album titled “December Lullaby” will ignite your holiday spirit. Enjoy the sounds of the season with a musical trio featuring flamenco guitar, violin, and vocals.
