Dunnellon Community Thrift Shop installs new officers

The Dunnellon Community Thrift Shop installed new officers Jan. 12 to serve a two-year term. Pictured in front of appreciation plaques at the Thrift Shop is Tony Tatarka, incoming president; Jan Salter, vice president; Georgi Gunnell, treasurer; and Marcia Smith, secretary. Not shown but elected to the Board of Directors are Joann McCullough, Danna Moore and Barbara Morris. The Dunnellon Community Thrift Shop is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization and donated $31,699 to Dunnellon and the surrounding communities the past year. The Shop is now open for business Monday through Saturday and is accepting gently used items during business hours from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. We are also seeking new volunteers who can assist us on Saturdays. Stop in our shop at 20359 E. Pennsylvania Ave. and ask for an application.
