The Chiefland Indians picked up their fourth win in a row Friday night after defeating the Dixie County Bears on the road, 35-0. Chiefland has a bye this week and will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 30, in a road game against the Trenton Tigers.

“(I’m) proud of the boys tonight (Friday),” first-year head coach James Corbin said following the game against the Bears. “They had a great, tremendous effort, especially playing against Dixie County. We expect to get the best out of Dixie (County) (and) we expect to get the most out of our players, especially when we have 17 seniors.”
