Geoffrey Banning, Citrus football

The Citrus football team has raced to a 3-0 start to the season. With a new head coach in place, senior leadership was going to be very important to help with the transition, and Geoffrey Banning has been a key contributor in that area.

The Hurricane linebacker leads the defense with 16 tackles — including five for a loss — after a team-best 119 stops last season to earn all-Chronicle honors.
