Ride a motorcycle down Ozello Trail

Just off U.S. 19 between Homosassa Springs and Crystal River is Ozello Trail, also known as State Road 494. Bikers love this twisty, two-lane blacktop road to the Gulf. When you have no place in particular to go, it might be nice to check out Ozello Trail.

The speed limit along Ozello Trail is 35, but proceed with caution, not everyone pays attention and the curves, twists and turns can catch you off guard. Along the way, there are little side roads to explore. Beautiful marshlands line both sides of the road where you can see an abundance of aquatic birds, native wildlife, kayakers, canoeists, and maybe even

a manatee.

When you reach the end you will know by the “Road Ends Here” sign, now, you are at the water's edge.

Stop at the restaurants and shops along the way and say hello to the locals.
