It’s a good thing that the authors of the Constitution knew what they were doing, enacting the Electoral College voting act. The wisdom of the Electoral College is to prevent any one populace state from overriding the voice of others.

President Trump won the popular vote in 31 states and 19 going to Clinton, 62 to 38%.

This coming election is probably the most important since the Civil War. Ronald Reagan said: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”

So we must choose between two philosophies — Republican and Democrat — this coming election. Winston Churchill had a profound quote: “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings ... And the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.”
