Regarding Frank Simonelli’s Aug. 7 letter to the editor, “Send the raw emotion elsewhere,” regarding mass random shootings: I think Frank has identified some of the causes with hate, anger and ugliness but he puts the blame on President Trump. I have an adage that Frank may want to consider. It is not the match (Trump) that burns the house down, it is the person who scratches the match — Pelosie and her gang of Democrats — who burns the house down.

All of the divisiveness, hate, bullying, fear-mongering, ignorance, immoral words and actions were started and perpetuated by Trump--and now he dares to play the victim card? Seriously? You reap what you sow.

"It is not the match (Trump) that burns the house down, it is the person who scratches the match." Your adage makes no sense. In the real world the shooter was the match and Trump was the one striking it.

When the shooter (the match) says, "'This attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas. They are the instigators, not me. I am simply defending my country from cultural and ethnic replacement brought on by an invasion.'

And then you look at Trump and the GOP talking fake invasion to the point that President Donald Trump has run roughly 2,200 Facebook advertisements warning of an "invasion" at the US border. You don't see a connection and you then you ignorantly blame democrats? Come on man, get your head out of your arse.

Oh, come on....Trump is a freaking flamethrower.
