I met Lee Alexander years ago, when as president of Crime Stoppers, Lee was an investigator for the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office. We worked on many cases, Lee was informed and prepared when asking for support. In time he became a board member and was one of the first to volunteer for any task asked of him. Over the years he became the president of Crime Stoppers, I appreciated his management style and willingness to work on any and all items while maintaining a positive objective.

Lee was promoted to director of volunteers and senior services. Our relationship changed as being the director of Crime Watch Citrus Springs he became my supervisor. Again I was impressed with his abilities to communicate, direct and lead this large group of senior volunteers. He was always searching for new and better ways to get the job done. I personally found him receptive and willing to listen and compromise if need be. Working with Lee over the years, we became friends and I’m proud to call him friend. I was one of the first to encourage him on his run for sheriff, knowing his attributes would serve him well as sheriff. I am asking you also to support Lee Alexander for Sheriff of Citrus County.
