The Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA will offer all-day youth relief care for essential workers to help support the children of professionals who are playing important roles combating the coronavirus.
The tentative schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. now through March 27, March 30 to April 3, April 6 to 10, April 13 to 15, April 20 to 24; April 27 to May 1 and May 4 to 8. Cost is $50 per child, per week.
Your children will have the opportunity to engage in constructive activities; including arts and crafts, outdoor games and time to focus on pre-assigned academics. Ensure your children are dressed in athletic attire, including sneakers. The number of staff and children present at each shift will be limited to allow social distancing.
Y staff will intentionally teach and encourage good hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette and follow a strict sick child/staff policy. For the safety and well-being of others in the program, those running a temperature of 100.4+ degrees cannot attend.
