SunTrust Vehicle Crash

A Citrus County Sheriff's Office deputy looks at a car that ended up on top of two unoccupied vehicles Monday afternoon in the parking lot of the SunTrust Bank at the intersection of County Road 486 and North Forest Ridge Boulevard near Hernando. No injuries were reported. A male driver backed out of the SunTrust drive-through over a curb into County Road 486, according to Citrus County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Jodi Sanders. Sanders said the driver then cut the wheel and continued to reverse around the curve until he hopped a curb back into the SunTrust parking lot on North Forest Ridge Boulevard and then reversed onto the two vehicles in the parking lot. At this time it is not known what caused the incident, which deputies will continue to investigate, Sanders said.
