Contact your agent for discount amounts. Update yourself to earn a discount and get newly enacted motor vehicle and traffic laws. Course fee is $15 for AARP members and $20 for all others.

Play military cards with WSW
Women of Sugarmill Woods (WSW) will host their monthly Military Card event noon Monday, Dec. 16, at the Sugarmill Woods Country Club, 1 Douglas St. Homosassa. A potluck will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the game begins at 1 p.m. Cost to play is $12 per player. If you have a foursome you want to play with, notate on your registration. Attend a Monthly Movie Matinee

Participate in a Christmas Bird Count
Hernando Audubon Society is hosting a Christmas bird count. Every year, volunteers count birds within designated areas, providing important data to assess the health of bird populations and to help guide conservation action. The Aripeka-Bayport bird count will occur Monday, Dec. 23, and will count all the birds from Pine Island in Hernando County to Crews Lake in Pasco County.
