The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that Capt. Misty Clendenney, the department’s captain of judicial and juvenile services, has graduated from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s executive leadership program.

The prestigious program focuses on a variety of law enforcement topics such as managing organizations, effective leadership and facing challenges.

Clendenney was one of 23 participants from an array of law enforcement agencies who participated in the class.
