Resurfacing to slow traffic on C.R. 491 this week

County Road 491 surface milling and resurfacing began Monday from just south of Laurel Street to the south edge of the outside eastbound lane of State Road 44. Most of the pavement milling and resurfacing will occur on the northbound lanes of County Road 491, and lanes are being closed to accommodate the work. The milling is expected to be completed by the end of the workday Friday. Cones and flaggers will be used at driveways and side streets to direct turning traffic as needed. Motorists are asked to use caution while in the construction area.
