Oct. 9 Beverly Hills house fire

Firefighters put out a fire Wednesday night in Beverly Hills.

Citrus County emergency crews responded to a house fire in the 4200 block of North Brynner Pass Terrace Wednesday night in Beverly Hills.

According to Citrus County Fire Rescue Chief Craig Stevens, no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.

Neighbors were also able to rescue the pets inside before firefighters arrived, Stevens said.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the attic above the garage. No injuries were reported.
