Making way for progress

Workers tear down a three-story office complex that was home to the Regions Bank in Inverness. A new location of the bank has moved across the street. Plans are to build a Capital City Bank and a Chili’s at 800 W. Main St., where the building once stood. The building near the intersection of U.S. 41 and State Road 44 was built in 1971 and was the city’s third bank.
