Key Training Center presents “Tree of Hope”

The Key Training Center is presenting the 30-ft “Tree of Hope," a Citrus County tradition. 

The Key Training Center will present the 30-foot “Tree of Hope," a Citrus County tradition. The tree is lit in dedication to the men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. All are welcome to “come and light up the Key Training Center, bringing joy to everyone who drives by it.” The official tree lighting ceremony will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the Key Center Foundation Office parking lot, 5399 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy., Lecanto. There will be music and refreshments, with a visit from Santa Claus as well. Fall Craft Beer Festival

The Crew Bar will host their Fall Craft Beer Festival 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 564 N. Citrus Ave, Crystal River. The festival will feature 16 beer specialties on tap with entertainment by the blues band, Corporate Cool Cats. Patrons will have the choice between tasting local Floridian Fall Craft Flavors beers for $25 a ticket, or domestic beers for $20. Tickets are on sale now at the Crew Bar location, online through Eventbrite: Crew Fall Craft Beer Festival Crystal River or through Crew Bar’s Facebook page. A portion of the proceeds of this event will benefit the Key Training Center.
