Taste the culinary delights of Greece at the Archangel Michael Greek Festival and Vendor Expo from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at 4705 Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Lecanto.
The festival will feature homemade greek foods and a gyro booth, specialty pastries, live music, dancers, face painting, door prizes, and craft and merchandise vendors.
Admission is a $2 donation. Free parking.

Registration begins Oct. 24 for Toys for Tots
Citrus United Basket will begin registration for Toys for Tots from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, through Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 1201 Parkside Ave., Inverness (directly opposite of the entrance to Inverness Middle School). This is for children up to 12 years old.
Bring photo ID, original birth certificate or school record and a piece of a mail with your current address. Those who have custody of the child, you must bring proper documentation.
All applications will be cross referenced with all Citrus County agencies to ensure no duplication of accounts.
Cattle Days coming Oct. 18-19
The Historic Hernando Days Festival and Cracker Cattle Drive will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19. Cattle will arrive at 1 p.m. Saturday.
See real cowboys, working horses, cattle dogs, and Florida Cracker Cattle. Activities for families will include live music, cultural crafts, and food.
