Dunnellon boat ramp closed

The City of Dunnellon has made a decision to close the boat ramp behind City Hall. The decision, as indicated by a notification on the window of the above Dunnellon Police vehicle, says that the ramp facility has been closed to coincide with Marion County's recent decision to close all county-owned boat ramps for the health, safety and welfare of the public. It further states the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has made this decision in conjunction with the Emergency Management Coordinator/Police Chief for Dunnellon. It will remain closed until it is determined it can safely be reopened. Citrus County boat ramps remain open.
