Crystal Ford crash

Emergency workers work to assist the driver of this four-door car Tuesday afternoon following a crash that ended in the Crystal Ford dealership in Crystal River.

More information is coming in about the driver of a Toyota Camry that hit a ditch in front of Crystal Ford  at around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 19.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office said the driver, whose name is still not being released, became dizzy. He hit the embankment, causing the car to fly 139 feet before landing in the parking lot, striking three vehicles.

The driver is receiving medical treatment and nobody else was injured, according to the sheriff’s office.

Crystal River Fire, Citrus County EMS and Levy County EMS responded to the call.
