Commissioner to attend town hall meeting

Walden Woods LTD and Walden Woods North will be hosting a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at The Clubhouse, 7193. W. Walden Woods Drive, Homosassa. Commissioner Ron Kitchen Jr. will be the guest speaker and the topic is universal garbage collection. All are invited.

Legion Post 237 to host luncheon for vets

American Legion Post No. 237 will host a Veterans Day luncheon from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at 6726 N. Lecanto Hwy., Beverly Hills. Lunch will be provided. Come out and help honor veterans. Former college dean to discuss education 

Scott Baldwin will speak 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Citrus County League of Women Voters meeting. The meeting is at the Coastal Region Library, 8619 W. Crystal St., Crystal River. Baldwin, a college professor and dean, is the president of the Nature Coast Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
