West Citrus Government Center to open in March

Angela Vick, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, announced the opening of the Clerk Services location at the West Citrus Government Center (WCGC) at 1540 N. Meadowcrest Blvd., Crystal River, will occur in March.

Legislative budget cuts forced the closure of the Meadowcrest branch in October 2016. In 2019, Clerk Vick was able to secure sufficient funding to reopen. This funding, along with the implementation of technology and streamlining for efficiency, are the reasons the Clerk’s Office will reopen for business in March 2020.

The following services will be available at the Clerk’s WCGC location:

  • Marriage Licenses.

  • Officiant Registry.

  • Passport Applications & Passport Photos.

  • Plat Maps research (1890-present).

  • Record documents in the Official Records.

  • Search Official and Court Records.

  • Value Adjustment Board Petition filing.

  • Unclaimed Property.

All court related services such as injunctions for protection, customer service for opening court cases, payment of court fines and fees, traffic payments and child support payments, will remain at the Courthouse located at 110 N. Apopka Ave. in Inverness. Searches and public access to court documents will be available at all three Clerk of Court locations.

Look for updates on the Clerk’s website at www.citrusclerk.org and on social media accounts (Facebook/Instagram @CitrusCountyClerk, Twitter @CitrusFLClerk).
