Citrus County Solar Co-op virtual presentation slated

All are welcome for a virtual introduction to the Citrus County Solar Co-op from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25. Our goal is to offer local homeowners and small businesses in Citrus County information about residential and small business solar energy.

This effort is being launched in March by the nonprofit Solar United Neighbors of Florida in partnership with the Florida League of Women Voters, Sierra Club Adventure Coast Group, Citrus County Audubon Society, Nature Coast Unitarian Universalists, Nature Coast Americans United for Separation of Church and State and Florida Springs Council.

The virtual educational presentation will encourage viewers to join the co-op, which is free and carries no obligation to invest in solar energy, although you will be able to access a discounted rate to install solar power for your home or small business as a part of the co-op.
