DUI arrest

  • Gary Swearingen, 40, of Orlando, at 10:46 p.m. Nov. 20 on felony charges of driving under the influence (third conviction) and introduction of contraband into a detention facility, along with misdemeanor charges of possession of cannabis and refusing to sign a citation. His bond was set at $8,500.

Domestic arrest

  • Sarah Duffell, 31, of Inverness, at 12:16 a.m. Nov. 21 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

  • James Beland, 17, of South Quiver Terrace, Inverness, at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 20 on an active warrant for felony car burglary that becomes armed. He was transported from the Marion County Juvenile Center to the Citrus County Detention Facility. His bond was set at $25,000.

  • Holly Marheine, 36, Southeast 52nd Street, Ocala, at 11:50 a.m. Nov. 20 on an active warrant for battery. She turned herself in to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

  • Michele Clayton, 42, of South Marlin Drive, Floral City, at 3 p.m. Nov. 20 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of battery on a law enforcement officer. She was transported from the Sumter County Jail to the Citrus County Detention Facility.

  • Erica Batista, 35, of North Sandree Drive, Citrus Springs, at 6:34 p.m. Nov. 20 on an active warrant for public assistance fraud. Her bond was set at $2,000.

  • James Gorman V, 37, of Homosassa, at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 20 on felony charges of burglary to an unoccupied residence and grand theft. His bond was set at $12,000.

  • Cody Bevington, 30, of Inverness, at 5:05 a.m. Nov. 21 on a misdemeanor charge of failing to register as a felon within 48 hours. His bond was set at $500.

  • Taylor Bowman, 25, of Homosassa, at 9:38 a.m. Nov. 21 on a felony charge of trafficking in methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. According to his arrest affidavit deputies contacted Bowman regarding an active warrant and approximately 18.7 grams of methamphetamine and a scale were found in his possession. His bond was set at $26,000.

  • Courtney Lord, 29, of North Tamarisk Avenue, Beverly Hills, at 5:41 p.m. Nov. 21 on a misdemeanor charge of petit theft. According to his arrest affidavit Wimberley is accused of shoplifting groceries and two jackets valued at $57.73 from the Lecanto Walmart. Her bond was set at $500.

  • Dewayne Matthewson, 35, of Homosassa, at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 21 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was set at $4,000.

  • Crystal Carpenter, 35, of Crystal River, at 8:11 p.m. Nov. 21 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $5,000.

  • Clarence Bryant, 53, of South Desoto Street, Beverly Hills, at 9:51 p.m. Nov. 21 on a misdemeanor charge of petit theft. According to his arrest affidavit Bryant is accused of shoplifting groceries valued at $26.19 from the Lecanto Walmart. His bond was set at $500.

  • Bertha Delgado, 58, of Inglis, at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 21 for felony petit theft with two or more convictions of any theft. Her bond was set at $2,000.
