DUI arrest
Katie Martin, 32, of North Sunshine Path, Crystal River, at 7:04 p.m. Nov. 17 on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. According to her arrest affidavit, Martin was pulled over for failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. She was asked to complete field sobriety tasks and did poorly. Breathalyzer testing of her blood alcohol level registered 0.147 and 0.150. The legal limit is 0.08. Her bond was set at $1,000.
Other arrests
Jessie Dunn Jr., 42, of South Turner Avenue, Floral City, at 3:42 p.m. Nov. 17 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of failure to comply with sex offender reporting.
Elizabeth Handelsman, 40, of Beverly Hills, at 2:47 p.m. Nov. 17 on a misdemeanor charge of retail petit theft.
Joshua Bertels, 33, of South Canal Road, Inverness, at 2:18 p.m. Nov. 17 on a misdemeanor charge of retail petit theft. According to his arrest affidavit, Bertels is accused of shoplifting a jacket and watch valued at $89.90 from the Inverness Walmart. His bond was set at $500.
Starr Hunter, 25, of West Pasco Place, Homosassa, at 2:16 p.m. Nov. 17 on an active Marion County warrant for a felony charge of murder while engaged in a felony. Her bond was denied.
