Domestic arrests

  • Jessie Hanshew, 28, of Hernando, at 11:10 p.m. March 18 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

  • Anthony Sullivan, 19, of Beverly Hills, at 4:13 p.m. March 18 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

Other arrests

  • Nicole Sterling, 31, of Floral City, at 1 a.m. March 18 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $5,000.

  • Kody Anderson, 34, of Crystal River, at 1:08 a.m. March 18 on misdemeanor charges of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was set at $2,000.

  • Sasha Taflinger, 37, of North Bent Way, Hernando, at 9:09 a.m. March 18 on a felony charge of grand theft. She was also charged with felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. According to her arrest affidavit, Taflinger is accused of stealing a trailer, two lawnmowers, a tiller, and a ladder valued at $1,150 from a Hernando property. Her bond was set at $2,000 for the theft but denied for her probation violation.

  • Joseph Johnson, 58, of Southeast Lake Evelyn Avenue, Crystal River, at 11:14 a.m. March 18 on an active warrant for a misdemeanor charge of obtaining food or lodging without paying. His bond was set at $500.

  • James Gorman V, 38, of South Campbell Point, Homosassa, at 1:33 p.m. March 18 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of trespassing.

  • Michael Venuto, 23, of Dunnellon, at 1:39 p.m. March 18 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation.

  • Joseph O’Donnell, 26, of Hernando, at 3:29 p.m. March 18 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation.

  • Gary Foss Jr., 32, of Hernando, at 4:36 p.m. March 18 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of drug paraphernalia and trespassing. According to his arrest affidavit, Foss was found trespassing in a Hernando shed and approximately 0.2 grams of methamphetamine and a silver spoon with meth residue were found in his possession. His bond was set at $4,000.

  • Kathleen Cooper, 24, of West Charlynn Lane, Crystal River, at 6:23 p.m. March 18 on an active Saline County, Missouri, warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance, making her a fugitive from justice. Her bond was denied.

  • Nicole Stimel, 46, of Hernando, at 6:53 p.m. March 18 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation.

  • Hayley Eakle, 29, of East Fort Cooper Road, Inverness, at 11:31 p.m. March 18 on a felony charge of possession with intent to sell a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia.  She was also charged with felony violation of probation. According to her arrest affidavit, Eakle was pulled over for a routine traffic violation and approximately 4.36 grams of methamphetamine and a digital scale were found in her possession. Her bond was set at $3,000 for the drug charges but denied for the probation violation.

  • Jeramy Hibbetts, 32, of East Bow N Arrow Loop, Inverness, at 11:31 p.m. March 18 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.  He was also charged with felony violation of probation. According to his arrest affidavit, Hibbetts was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over for a routine traffic violation and approximately 0.36 grams of methamphetamine, one amphetamine and dextroamphetamine pill, and two alprazolam pills were found in his possession. His bond was set at $6,000 for the drug charges but denied for the probation violation.
