DUI arrest

  • Joshua McKinney, 19, of South Davis Lake Drive, Inverness, at 11 p.m. March 17 on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. According to his arrest affidavit, McKinney ran off the road and hit a tree, then drove off. He was asked to complete field sobriety tasks and did poorly. Breathalyzer testing of his blood alcohol level registered 0.0 and 0.0. The legal limit is 0.08. His bond was set at $2,000.

  • Daniel Ziebart, 23, of Inverness, at 12:55 p.m. March 16 on a misdemeanor charge of violating a condition of pre-trial release on a domestic violence charge.

  • Thomas Caromano, 46, of Inverness, at 5 p.m. March 16 on a misdemeanor charge of violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence.
  • Brenda Alexander, 55, of Citrus Springs, at 8:14 p.m. March 17 on a felony charge of battery on a law enforcement officer and a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

  • Daniel Ott, 47, of Homosassa, at 6:24 a.m. March 16 on felony charges of grand theft auto, trafficking in stolen property, and fraudulent use of a title, along with a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,000.

  • Angel Shoup, 51, of Homosassa, at 6:04 a.m. March 16 on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and carrying a concealed firearm. Her bond was set at $16,000.

  • Michael Pace, 49, of Hernando, at 1:07 p.m. March 16 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle without a valid license. His bond was set at $2,500.

  • Damian Buch, 25, of Inverness, at 2 p.m. March 16 on a felony charge of failing to report a change of address as required for sex offenders. His bond was set at $5,000.

  • Rachel Rosenthal, 40, of South Monroe Street, Beverly Hills, at 2:05 p.m. March 16 on an active Marion County warrant for felony petit theft. Her bond was set at $2,000.

  • John McCarthy IV, 31, of South Fawn Terrace, Floral City, at 3:12 p.m. March 16 on an active Indian River County warrant for battery. His bond was denied.

  • Marlene Schofield, 52, of Inverness, at 5 p.m. March 16 for felony violation of probation and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $1,000 for the drug charge but denied for the probation violation.

  • Janine Polidori, 49, of Inverness, at 5 p.m. March 16 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $3,000.

  • Thomas Hoehman Jr., 38, of Inverness, at 5 p.m. March 16 on a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,000.

  • Corey Clayborn, 28, of North Sheffield Terrace, Inverness, at 7:08 p.m. March 16 on an active warrant for selling heroin. His bond was set at $5,000.

  • Jennifer Hernandez, 39, of Homosassa, at 8:25 p.m. March 16 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $4,000.

  • Donald Barber, 56, of Lecanto, at 8:25 p.m. March 16 on a misdemeanor charge of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,000.

  • Keri Manchester, 50, of Inverness, at 8:46 p.m. March 16 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $2,000.

  • Casey Kimball, 41, of Center Street, Pownal, Vermont, at 5:16 a.m. March 17 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. According to his arrest affidavit, Kimball was pulled over for faulty tag lights. A K-9 unit alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle and approximately 0.18 grams of methamphetamine were found in his possession. His bond was set at $2,000.

  • Brandon Johnson, 44, of Inverness, at 11 a.m. March 17 on felony charges of burglary and grand theft along with misdemeanor charges of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief. His bond was set at $18,500.

  • Simeon Hopkins, 26, of Homosassa, at 11 a.m. March 17 on felony charges of possession of with intent to sell a controlled substance, trafficking in cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and leasing a structure for the purpose of trafficking. His bond was set at $28,000.

  • Andrew Howard, 34, of Hernando, at 2:50 p.m. March 17 on a felony charge of grand theft. His bond was set at $2,000.
