Domestic battery arrest
  • Thomas Cudahey, 19, of Dunnellon, at 8:53 p.m. June 30 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

  • John McCabe, 34, of Inverness, at 12:26 a.m. June 30 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

    Other arrests
  • Douglas H. Doty, 52, of Crystal River, during a June 25 court hearing on a writ of bodily attachment issued by Circuit Court Judge Mary Hatcher. According to a court file, the judge released Doty from jail on Monday.
  • Kayla Higgins, 29, of South Calais Terrace, Homosassa, at 10:20 p.m. June 30 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of burglary.

  • James Woodard, 29, of Homosassa, at 10:20 p.m. June 30 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set for $2,000.

  • Dionne Mitchell, 47, of North Bighorn Point, Hernando, at 9:24 p.m. June 30 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. According to her arrest affidavit, deputies were called out to Mitchell’s residence concerning a verbal dispute and a small amount of methamphetamine and a meth pipe were found in her possession. Her bond was set for $3,000.

  • Madelin Zamora, 33, of North Crede Avenue, Crystal River, at 12:41 p.m. June 30 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of possession of methamphetamine.

  • Angelica Green, 31, of Hernando, at 4:57 a.m. June 30 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set for $3,000.

  • Jamar Johnson, 28, of Leesburg, at 1:57 a.m. June 30 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without a valid license. His bond was set for $5,500.

  • Anthony Lolly, 32, of Homosassa, at 5:26 p.m. June 28 for felony battery with a prior conviction of battery. His bond was set at $5,000.

  • Christopher Barnes, 20, of West Moss Lane, Crystal River, at 10:02 p.m. June 28 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of grand theft.

  • Jesse Wayne Howell, 25, of Roundtree Road, Holiday, at 1:18 a.m. June 29 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also charged with felony failure to appear stemming from an original charge of possession of cocaine. His bond was set for $3,000 for the drug charges but denied for the failure to appear.

  • Michelle Campbell, 54, of Crystal River, at 11:03 a.m. June 29 on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. Her bond was set at $500.

  • Randy Bunch, 50, of Homosassa, at noon June 29 on a misdemeanor charge of cruelty to animals. His bond was set at $1,000.

  • Deandre Goodson, 24, of Josephine Street, Brooksville, at 11:21 p.m. June 29 on a felony charge of fleeing law enforcement and misdemeanor charges of resisting an officer without violence and driving with a suspended license. According to his arrest affidavit, a deputy attempted to pull over Goodson for a stop-sign violation. Goodson reportedly started to pull over, then fled at a high rate of speed and continued speeding away until he crashed into a ditch. He was captured by K-9 Repo after fleeing his vehicle on foot. His bond was set at $3,500.

Burglaries

  • A residential burglary was reported at 2:42 p.m. Friday, July 5, in the 8100 block of E. Penbrook Lane, Floral City.
  • A vehicle burglary was reported at 5:39 a.m. Sunday, July 7, in the 4900 block of S. High Ridge Terrace, Homosassa.
  • A vehicle burglary was reported at 10:36 a.m. July 7 in the 10 block of Gloxinias Court, Homosassa.
  • A residential burglary was reported at 1:53 p.m. July 7 at Ed Carnahan’s Island, Crystal River.
  • A vehicle burglary was reported at 2:45 p.m. July 7 in the 800 block of W. Starjasmine Place, Beverly Hills.

Thefts

  • A petit theft was reported at 9:59 a.m. Friday, July 5, in the 400 block of S. Park Ave., Inverness.
  • An auto theft was reported at 4:51 p.m. July 5 in the 5300 block of N. Redwood Ave., Hernando.
  • A misdemeanor retail theft was reported at 8:50 p.m. July 5 in the 2400 block of E. Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Inverness.
  • A grand theft was reported at 2:11 p.m. Saturday, July 6, in the 200 block of U.S. 41 South, Inverness.
  • An auto theft was reported at 3:42 p.m. July 6 in the 9300 block of N. Citrus Springs Blvd., Dunnellon.
  • A grand theft was reported at 10:02 a.m. Sunday, July 7, in the 400 block of N. Winterset Ave., Crystal River.
  • A petit theft was reported at 10:48 a.m. July 7 in the 1600 block of W. Main St., Inverness.
  • An auto theft was reported at 7:57 p.m. July 7 in the 5800 block of W. Cardinal St., Homosassa.
  • An auto theft was reported at 7:15 a.m. Monday, July 8, in the 1300 block of N. Florida Ave., Hernando.

Vandalisms

  • A felony vandalism was reported at 12:31 p.m. Friday, July 5, in the area of North Centennial Point and East Panama Drive, Dunnellon.
  • A vandalism was reported at 12:07 a.m. Saturday, July 6, in the 200 block of SW Kings Bay Drive, Crystal River.
  • A vandalism was reported at 6:07 a.m. July 6 in the 1700 block of N. Troy Loop, Inverness.
