DUI arrest
  • Kyle Christensen, 19, of Homosassa, at 10:07 p.m. July 2 on felony charges of driving under the influence with serious bodily injury to another and leaving the scene of an accident where a death occurred, along with misdemeanor charges of DUI with property damage and resisting an officer without violence. His bond was set for $62,000.
Domestic battery arrests
  • Marianne Leato, 45, of Crystal River, at 5:42 p.m. July 2 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

  • Charles Peterson, 46, of Beverly Hills, at 10:30 a.m. July 2 on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

    Other arrests
  • Jovante Taylor, 25, of Begonia Court, Homosassa, at 8:17 p.m. July 2 on misdemeanor charges of trespassing and resisting an officer without violence. According to his arrest affidavit, Taylor is accused of trespassing in a Jeep that was being repossessed at the Crystal River Applebee’s parking lot. He reportedly entered the vehicle while it was about to be towed and refused to get out when deputies asked him to. His bond was set at $1,500.

  • Larry Huskins, 47, of Southeast Debra Avenue, Inglis, at 3:25 p.m. July 2 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of driving with a suspended license and attaching an unassigned tag to a vehicle. According to his arrest affidavit, Huskins had approximately 0.5 grams of methamphetamine in his wallet when he was arrested for driving with a suspended license. His bond was set for $3,000.

  • Rebecca Holcomb, 36, of Dunnellon, at 1:25 p.m. July 2 on a felony charge of harboring a sex offender. Her bond was set for $2,000.

  • Dave Hair, 40, of Dunnellon, at 1:25 p.m. July 2 on a felony charge of harboring a sex offender. His bond was set for $2,000.

  • Travis Duke, 23, of County Road 647, Bushnell, at 1:24 p.m. July 2 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. According to his arrest affidavit, Duke was asleep at a table in the Inverness KFC and approximately 0.4 grams of methamphetamine and a meth pipe were found in his possession. His bond was set for $3,000.

  • Danny Holcomb Jr., 39, of North Polar Point, Dunnellon, at 1 p.m. July 2 on an active warrant for felony charges of failing to meet sex-offender reporting requirements. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence.

  • Shannon Michael, 50, of Hernando, at 12:30 p.m. July 2 on felony charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, grand theft auto, and grand theft of a firearm. His bond was set for $5,000.

  • Matthew Freeman, 50, of South Glenn Acres Terrace, Homosassa, at 11:23 a.m. July 2 on an active warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of possession of methamphetamine.

  • Robert Paty, 31, of Hernando, at 9:28 a.m. July 2 on felony charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, grand theft auto, and grand theft of a firearm. His bond was set for $14,000.

  • Devon Humphries, 18, of Clark Street, Inverness, at 2:34 a.m. July 2 on an active Marion County warrant for misdemeanor battery. He was already incarcerated at the Citrus County Detention Facility on unrelated charges. His bond was set at $1,000.

  • Adam Penrod, 26, of West Moss Lane, Crystal River, at 9:57 p.m. July 1 on an active Lake County warrant for a felony charge of trafficking in methamphetamine. His bond was set at $250,000.

  • Joshua Fleming, 31, of Homosassa, at 6:38 p.m. July 1 on a felony charge of burglary to an unoccupied residence. His bond was set for $10,000.

  • Larry Crayton, 60, of Apopka, at 5:03 p.m. July 1 on a felony charge of driving with a suspended license as a habitual offender and a misdemeanor charge of giving a false name to law enforcement. His bond was set for $6,000.

  • Matthew Moles, 46, of Running Brook Drive, Homosassa, at 12:30 p.m. July 1 on an active Pasco County warrant for felony violation of probation stemming from an original charge of driving under the influence.

  • Mandisa Hall, 42, of North Pizarro Point, Lecanto, at 11:23 a.m. July 1 on two felony counts of uttering forged bills. According to his arrest affidavit, Hall is accused of using a counterfeit $100 bill at the Inverness Dunkin Donuts on two different occasions. His bond was set for $4,000.

Thefts

  • A grand theft was reported at 1:19 p.m. Monday, July 8, in the 8400 block of N. Huntley Terrace, Dunnellon.
  • A petit theft was reported at 2:53 p.m. July 8 at Bumelia Court, Homosassa.
  • A petit theft was reported at 4:13 p.m. July 8 in the 4300 block of E. Thunderhill Loop, Hernando.
  • A petit theft was reported at 6:38 p.m. July 8 in the 300 block of N. Suncoast Blvd., Crystal River.

Vandalisms

  • A vandalism was reported at 8:50 a.m. Monday, July 8, in the 900 block of W. Roosevelt Blvd., Beverly Hills.
  • A vandalism was reported at 11:30 a.m. July 8 in the 3500 block of N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills.
