DUI arrest

  • James Rice, 29, of North Marion Way, Crystal River, at 12:13 p.m. Aug. 7 on an active Lake County warrant for a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence. His bond was set at $1,000.

Domestic battery arrest

  • Ronald Hammons, 43, of Homosassa, at 2:24 p.m. Aug. 7 on felony charges of domestic battery by strangulation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and hindering communication to law enforcement, along with a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

Other arrests

  • Jason Gordon, 35, of Floral City, at 12:43 a.m. Aug. 7 on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,000.

  • Antoinette Dietrich, 23, of Inverness, at 12:43 a.m. Aug. 7 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $3,000.

  • James Glover III, 32, of Floral City, at 12:59 a.m. Aug. 7 on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $1,000.

  • Jonathon Lopez, 29, of Dunnellon, at 2:37 a.m. Aug. 7 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $2,000.

  • Isreal Piedra, 41, of Crystal River, at 3:06 a.m. Aug. 7 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of possession of cannabis. His bond was set at $3,000.

  • Joseph Petralia, 51, of Homosassa, at 3:15 a.m. Aug. 7 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. His bond was set at $5,000.

  • Jay Best, 64, of Crystal River, at 10:05 a.m. Aug. 7 on felony charges of car burglary and criminal mischief. His bond was set at $5,000.

  • Dale Dicke Jr., 38, of South Solo Terrace, Homosassa, at 10:57 a.m. Aug. 7 on a felony charge of possession with intent to sell a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief. According to his arrest affidavit, Dicke was trespassed from the Homosassa Walmart and a baggie containing methamphetamine, additional baggies with meth residue, and a digital scale were found in his possession. He reportedly kicked a patrol vehicle while being arrested, damaging a window barrier guard. His bond was set at $7,500.

  • Jonathon Spell, 37, of the Department of Corrections, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 7 on an active warrant for felony battery. He was transported from the Northwest Florida Reception Facility to the Citrus County Detention Facility.

  • Chauncey Markham, 53, of Hernando, at 8:44 p.m. Aug. 7 on a misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence. His bond was set at $1,000.
