As stay-at-home orders ease, the sights and signs of life in Citrus County look very different today than just a few short weeks ago.

The Citrus County Chronicle has compiled photos of the community in a COVID-19 world and developed a slideshow. COVID-19 became part of our collective conversation in early February.

The reality of the COVID-19 pandemic became more relevant as Citrus County schools were ordered to close in the second week of March. Then Gov. Ron DeSantis issued the stay-at-home order on April 1.

As DeSantis announces additional “phase one” measures to reopen Florida’s economy, Citrus County moves closer to getting "back to normal."
