Supervisor of Elections jump.jpg

Shown, is the Supervisor of Elections offices are in the West Citrus Government Center in Crystal River in the Meadowcrest community.

The Citrus County Supervisor of Elections Office under normal circumstances would schedule a day to spend with Citrus high school seniors providing them an opportunity to register to vote and talking to them about the 2020 election cycle.

Unfortunately, that won't happen. Instead, the Supervisor of Elections Office will take this opportunity to tell seniors how they can register to vote.

• If you are 18 years old you may register to vote. If you are at least 16 years old you may pre-register.

A voter information card will be sent to you when you turn 18.

You may register to vote online at www.votecitrus.com if you have a Florida driver’s license or a Florida identification card.

If you do not have a Florida driver’s license or Florida identification card you can print a voter registration application form from the website. You may also call the elections office at 352-564-7120 and a form will be mailed to you.

Seniors will always remember their first Presidential election. It is a milestone. Make sure you are ready by first registering to vote. Call the office at 352-564-7120 or go online at www.votecitrus.com.

The Citrus County Elections Office is here to help. If you have questions about registering to vote, requesting a vote-by-mail ballot or the voting process in general, contact them.
