VFW District 7 Auxiliary hosts School of Instruction

On Aug. 10, VFW District 7 Auxiliary held their School of Instruction (SOI). The SOI reviews changes and informs members of the Auxiliaries many programs that help veterans, active duty military, youth and communities. Established in 1914, the VFW Auxiliary is one of the oldest veterans service organizations, and members are the relatives of those who have served in overseas combat. The VFW Auxiliary has nearly 470,000 members in more than 4,000 Auxiliaries nationwide who volunteer millions of hours and fund raise millions of dollars for charitable projects.
