Recently, the VFW Riders of District 7 presented a check to the Nature Coast Young Marines to show appreciation for all they do for veterans and the community.

The VFW Riders often partner with other veteran rider groups and veteran organizations to raise money for veteran causes, the community and youth groups throughout the year.

"We all love to ride motorcycles and most of us are VFW members or Auxiliary members," said Deputy Director Ingall.

The Young Marines are open to all youths through the completion of high school. The youth must be in good standing at school.

Their website, youngmarines.com states: "The Young Marines strengthens the lives of America's youth by teaching the importance of self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring our Veterans, good citizenship, community service and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle."
