VFW 8189 members donate to Mission in Citrus

On Oct. 4, VFW 8189 Post and Auxiliary visited the Mission in Citrus (TMIC) to deliver needed supplies. The Mission in Citrus is a nonprofit that helps homeless veterans and their families. Post and Auxiliary gathered supplies throughout the month of September until they had two truck loads of items to deliver to the Mission. Supplies included a stove, new clothing, shoes, kids toys, hygiene items, baby wipes and more.
