Dr. Victoria Machado will present “Sacred Waters: The Protection of Florida’s Fluid Landscapes” at 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum, 1 Courthouse Square in Inverness. 

As a part of the Coffee and Conversation Speaker Series, Dr. Victoria Machado will present “Sacred Waters: The Protection of Florida’s Fluid Landscapes” at 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum, 1 Courthouse Square in Inverness. A virtual live stream is available for viewers at home.

This presentation is in partnership with Keep Citrus County Beautiful’s annual Save Our Waters Week programs. Machado’s presentation will explore efforts to restore Florida’s waterways and investigate the motivations of environmentalists who love and advocate for these water bodies.
