On June 29, the Inverness Lion’s Club held their Officer Installation Banquet. The theme of this year’s banquet was “The Wild West.” 

Joining the club officers and members at the installation banquet were the following Lions Club state officials.

  • District Governor Helene Thompson
  • 2nd Vice District Governor Harry Williams
  • Global Leadership Team Vivian Henegar

Inverness Lions Club member Mary Powers was selected as Lion of the Year. Mary is the club’s eyesight chairperson, and coordinates vision exams and glasses, and cataract surgeries for low income residents of Citrus County.

The following Inverness Lions Club members were installed as officers for the 2019-20 year: President Kelley Rowland, 1st Vice President Mike Isley, 2nd Vice President Kim G. Rossman, Secretary Lou Islay, Treasurer Lisa White, 2 year Director Greg Andreichuk, 2 year Director Josie Coury.
