Well, hello again. It looks like we will be wearing our masks and social distancing for quite awhile longer and my “Community,” “Volunteer” and “Thinking Caps” are continuing to ponder how all of you are coping and enduring it all. I’ve been thinking about positive things to be of help to volunteers around the community along our volunteer path.

Of listening, it has been said that opportunity speaks very softly. Gentle volunteers hear it and respond. The key to the art of listening is selectivity. We stand at the ear gateway to our mind, our heart, and we decide what we will accept. Volunteers listen to the good of love, hope and courage. We tune out gossip, fear and resentment.
