VFW donation will send six kids to summer camp

On Wednesday, March 31, VFW Auxiliary 8189 presented a $600 check to the YMCA to help send six kids to summer camp.

While maintaining social distancing, Auxiliary youth and scholarship chairman, Joel Steele, presented the check to YMCA employee Megan Day.

The YMCA is working to provide the best and safest experience for the kids in summer camp. The donation send kids to camp who would not be able to go otherwise.
