Supervisor of Elections dines with Rotary Women

Recently 37 Rotary Women in Citrus County and their guests met at Cattle Dog in downtown Inverness for an evening of socializing, good dining, and knowledge. Supervisor of Elections, Susan Gill, was the guest speaker and shared how far women have come in America regarding voting and other rights that are often taken for granted. In 1987, women entered into the real world of Rotary membership after decades of having Rotary as an all-male domain. Rotary is an international service organization of over 1.2 million members who hold strongly to the tenet, "Service Above Self."  For more information on Rotary International, go online to www.rotary.org.
