Community members join in with Inverness officials Jan. 21 to celebrate the new decking installed at Cooter Pond Boardwalk. Holding the ribbon, from left, are City Manager Eric Williams; City staff Scott McCulloch; councilmembers Linda Bega and Jacquie Hepfer; Mayor Bob Plaisted; and City Clerk Susan Jackson. This project comprise nearly a half mile of wood decking replaced by a local invented produced called “Wear Deck” composite decking. This will enhance the park's beautify and cut back maintenance.
