Recently, the Suncoast Business Masters (SBM) networking group invited Francis Gladeck, community advocate for the Humane Society, Family Resource Center and other meaningful community service organizations, to speak to club members.

Gladeck shared what these organizations do for local children and animals in need. Due to his presentation, the club will be signing up and supporting the yearly Christmas present drive for the Family Resource Center.

SBM members also brought in donations for the Humane Society. To learn more, contact Gladeck at 352-697-3050.

Christina Reed and Rachelle Garrett-Butler of Citrus County Blessings also joined. They shared how Blessings assists with filling the gap each weekend when students do not have access to free or reduced school breakfast or lunch.

Students are referred to Blessings by a teacher, guidance counselor or other school staff. All Citrus County schools offer this program and each student receives a bag of food to give them nourishment over the weekend. To learn more, call 352-341-7707.

SBM is comprised of local business leaders who work and support other local companies. For more information, call Amanda Rowthorn, president, at 352-564-0220 or follow them on Facebook.
