Friends of Citrus and the Nature Coast’s board of directors welcomed W. Ray Kelley, administrative pastor of the First Christian Church of Inverness, as their newest member.
Along with other members led by board president, Judge Mark J. Yerman, Kelley will help the organization as it pursues its mission of providing help, hope and healing to people in grief.
With a history of partnering with Friends of Citrus and the Nature Coast as a volunteer and member of its advisory board, Kelley has already helped make their services more widely available and to enhance their ability to attract funding.
Prior to his current association with First Christian Church of Inverness that began in 2012, Kelley held ministries in Live Oak, Missouri, Mississippi and Alabama.
Kelley was also a long-time administrator at three different minister training colleges, directed a youth camp, written articles for Christian publications, conducted workshops, spoken at state and local conventions and preached in more than 500 congregations across the U.S.
