CHS student awarded aviation scholarship

Jailyn Rivera, a student at Citrus High School (CHS), and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Molina of Inverness has been awarded the Kirk Aviation Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually by Crystal Aero Group to a Citrus County High School Senior. The award is valued at $8,500 and covers all costs associated with the FAA Private Pilot certificate. Jailyn is pictured with the selection committee composed of Chairman Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board Kennedy Smith, Chief Flight Instructor Gudi Davis, and Aviation Medical Examiner Dr. Scott Redrick.
