Register, spectate at annual charitable event

The Central Citrus Rotary Club will sponsor their annual Black Diamond Invitational Car Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Black Diamond Ranch, 3125 W. Black Diamond Circle, Lecanto.

The show will generate funds for local charities.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the public is welcome at 10 a.m. Awards will be presented at 2 p.m.

The show attracts exceptional cars from a variety of categories. Expect to see fine examples of antiques, classics and modern vehicles, both custom and stock gracing the fairways. It is our hope to provide everyone with a fun-filled car show experience enjoying cars that make your heart sing.

The annual Black Diamond Invitational Car Show is an event showcasing only outstanding vehicles. It is limited to the best qualified accepted entries.

Those wanting to show their vehicles may register at

Entries received after Oct. 26, may not be accepted for the show. A confirmation message must be received that you are entered in the car show. Call Roger Carlson to confirm acceptance if you don’t receive a confirmation message within three days at 353-464-0324.

Food vendors including Mel’s Island Cuisine, Lynn’s Ice Cream, Monsta Lobsta and Big Lee’s-Serious About Barbeque will be on hand to provide delicious meals.

The Downing Street Big Band will entertain with music from the Big Band era.
