Karen Medrano, music director of the Citrus Community Concert Choir (CCCC), invites the public to the choir’s 2019 Summer Concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the First Presbyterian Church, 206 Washington Ave., Inverness.

Music will include “The Gettysburg Address” composed by Mark Hayes based on Abraham Lincoln’s speech, “Home on the Range” also composed by Mark Hayes, “God Bless America” by Irving Berlin and Joseph Martin, “Old McDonald’s Farm” an American folk song by Noble Cain, “Underground Railroad” written by CCCC’s own Tom Mawhinney, and other music selections celebrating the United States. In addition, CCCC scholarship recipients will entertain concertgoers with their talents.

Admission available at the door is $10 for adults, students admitted free.

CCCC, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. With continued support from the community, the choir will again be able to offer scholarships to deserving high school and college students furthering their music education.
