Eric Ducharme has been obsessed with mermaids since he was 4 years old. He has always wanted to be a merman. From a young age, Eric began making mermaid tails out of anything he could find. His grandmother taught him to sew when he was just 8 years old.

Eric was just 14 when he started his company making and selling fabric mermaid tails, and often donated tails to Weeki Wachee. Known worldwide, these tails are recognized for their beautiful designs.

Eric’s vision is to make the tails look as real as the fish in the ocean and to help any aspiring mermaid or merman make their dreams come true.
