50th and 60th joint anniversary celebration

Harold James McIntyre, Jr., and Yvette Bertrand McIntyre of Hernando, formerly from Cornwall, Vermont, were married on July 4, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Middlebury, Vermont. The couple celebrated 60 years of marriage at Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort in Daytona Beach. They celebrated with Eugene Bertrand and Billie-Ann Wimmett Bertrand of Lincolnton, Georiga, who whose 50th anniversary was on July 5.

The celebration was hosted by the couple’s children: daughter Dorie and husband Robert Laflamme, from Hernando, and son Jim and wife Angel McIntyre, from Inverness.

The couple have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren: Robert, Jr. and Kayla Laflamme and son Brody, from Citrus Springs, Andre Laflamme and girlfriend Kristl Muench from Inverness, Jericho and Sadie McIntyre from Inverness, Christian and Kayla McIntyre and son Liam, stationed in Italy, Aaron and Brent Laughlin and son Ryker, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Alexis McIntyre and Jacob McIntyre from Inverness, Tiffany and Jeremy Vega and son Trenton from Floral City, and Shawn and Mel Wilks from Inverness (Tiffany and Shawn are the children of deceased daughter Michelle McIntyre Wilks), daughter-in-law Jeanne McIntyre, and children Matthew McIntyre and Gabriella McIntyre from Albany, Georgia (spouse and children of deceased son Stephen McIntyre).

Guests attended the celebration from Florida, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Vermont and New York.
